The World Hydrogen Mena congress in Dubai from February 26 to 29 will feature hydrogen experts at the forefront of the green energy transition, who will join over 500 senior decision makers to discuss the future of hydrogen development.
In partnership with Dii Desert Energy and the Mena Hydrogen Alliance, World Hydrogen Mena brings together the entire hydrogen value chain across Mena and the rest of the world to accelerate global clean hydrogen development, a release said.
With favourable geographic conditions for renewables and an established traditional energy export sector, the region has an exceptional opportunity to become a global clean hydrogen powerhouse.
Expert speakers
Building on the success of the 2022 and 2023 congresses and coming just a few short months after COP28, the 2024 programme will feature 100+ expert speakers and attendees from across Mena, Europe and Asia, coming together to tackle the latest developments, challenges and opportunities facing hydrogen in the region.
With five streams across two days, nine interactive roundtables, and engaging plenary and panel discussions throughout, participants will drive action-orientated sessions to take forward net zero strategies.
Delegates will have the opportunity to join a unique tour to visit the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park - one of the world’s largest renewable projects and deep-dive into the interactive Masterclass day to gain in-depth knowledge on critical issues facing the adoption of hydrogen as a clean energy source.
