Al Nassr's Ronaldo, who played his AFC Champions League match against Iran's Persopolis FC at Azadi Stadium in Tehran last night, was received by a massive crowd on arrival.
His arrival sent the crowd into hysteria, with several supporters chasing the Saudi club's squad bus to get a glimpse of the club's renowned star.
According to reports, the frenzied reception by the supporters caused Al Nassr to call off the training session for security reasons.
However, the events leading up to the game did not put a spanner in Al Nassr's plans for the night as two second-half goals powered the Saudi club to a 2-0 victory.
