Hazardous waste generated by Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) members has reduced 42 per cent last year, shows a new report.
Released yesterday during the fifth GPCA Responsible Care Conference at the Ritz-Carlton in Manama, the Responsible Care 2022 Performance Metrics report revealed a 61pc reduction of hazardous waste generation when compared to the average value recorded over the previous nine years (2013-2021) .
