MANAMA: Bahrain’s initiatives to achieve sustainable growth and launch a post-pandemic economic recovery were reviewed during a meeting between Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and International Monetary Fund (IMF) deputy managing director Bo Li on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank Group (WBG).
The minister affirmed the prominent role of the IMF to reduce the economic and social effects of the pandemic and stimulate economic sectors .
