Dubai: Dubai has launched a new court to streamline the inheritance process.
Deputy Ruler Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed announced the launch, the Dubai Media Office said yesterday.
The new court will consider all cases and requests for inheritance before one specialised judicial body.
Shaikh Maktoum, who is also the chairman of the judicial council, stressed that the step is part of efforts to modernise and improve the process of the emirate’s judicial system.
