F1 – His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, attended the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024 qualifying sessions last night at Yas Marina Circuit.
He emphasised that the capabilities and expertise of regional countries have contributed to their success in hosting Formula 1 races and strengthened their competitiveness in organising international motorsports events.
HRH Prince Salman met senior officials, team managers, F1 drivers, and organisers at the circuit. He commended the UAE’s efforts in elevating the prestige of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
He extended his wishes for continued progress and prosperity to the UAE and its people and expressed hope for the organisers of the Yas Marina Circuit Formula 1 races to also achieve great success.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the enduring Bahrain-UAE relations, strengthened by shared bonds and multisectoral collaboration, noting the mutual commitment to advancing co-operation to achieve shared aspirations and benefit both nations and their people.
He was accompanied by Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and several senior officials.
