MANAMA: Alba, the world’s largest aluminium smelter ex-China, has received the SafeGuard Hygiene Excellence and Safety Label from Bureau Veritas for its diligent efforts in ensuring the health and safety of its employees and contractors’ workers amidst Covid-19 pandemic.
This recognition came following a detailed on-site audit process which took place during May 2021 to examine the effectiveness of various precautionary measures which the company has been implementing across its campus and different departments since the outbreak of Covid-19 as well as the different policies and procedures governing these measures .
