Inter-Parliamentary Union secretary general Martin Chungong commended Bahrain for its numerous achievements in parliamentary action thanks to the attention and patronage of His Majesty King Hamad who established robust foundations to make popular participation the basis of governance.
Chungong praised Bahrain’s advanced status in strengthening and empowering tools and mechanisms for parliamentary work to serve Bahrainis as he met Arab Parliament Speaker Adel Al Asoomi .
