Abu Dhabi: The UAE passport is the most powerful in the world, enabling its holders to enter 171 countries without pre-entry visa requirements.
According to CEOWORLD magazine's Global Passport Ranking, holders of the UAE passport can enter 116 worldwide without visas, reported Al Bayan.
They are granted online or on-arrival visas to 55 countries.
UAE nationals are still required to obtain pre-entry visas to 27 countries in the world.
The UAE is followed respectively by Germany, Spain, Finland and Luxembourg whose citizens can enter 167 countries in the world without pre-entry visa requirements.
Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Singapore, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland, South Korea and Ireland ranked third with 166 countries.
Global Passport Ranking, compiled by the CEOWORLD magazine, ranks the passports of 193 countries and six other territories by counting the number of countries each passport can access without an advance visa. The six territories include Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong, Kosovo, the Palestinian Territories and the Vatican.
