Bahrain: A new study has shown that Bahrain’s ecosystems are deteriorating due to an increase in natural and human pressures.
Marine environment constitutes 91 per cent of Bahrain’s total area with it encompassing more than 9,500sqkm, while land area is less than 800sqkm including coral atolls, locally known as fashts .
