Mike Gaunt, in his column ‘An Englishman abroad’, last Friday, is right to complain about Englishmen, or foreigners in general, not trying to speak the native language of their host countries.
What is even worse, in my opinion, is vendors, or service providers who don’t speak the local language, as we have in Bahrain in abundance .
