Eight people, five of whom were Omani nationals, were killed late last night in a two-car collision in the Qatbeet region of Salalah.
The accident happened at around 11:30 pm last night, said Royal Oman Police (ROP) in a statement.
A photo showing Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) employees at the scene of the accident was also released.
