Muscat: Oman has today announced an eight-day holiday marking the advent of Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
Under orders issued by Sultan Qaboos of Oman, the holidays will start on 24 June and end on 29 June.
Employees of government agencies and public authorities in the country will resume work on 2 July.
Private sector employees will begin Eid holidays on Saturday, June 24, and end on Thursday, June 29, said Times of Oman
