BASKETBALL – Round 13 of the 2024-25 Zain Bahrain Basketball League gets underway tonight at Zain Basketball Arena in Um Al Hassam.
Three game nights will be held this week with fixtures in both the Premier League and League B.
Tonight, Sitra take on Samaheej in a League B affair at 8.45pm, to be followed by Al Ahli going up against Al Ettihad at 10.30pm in a Premier League clash.
Tomorrow, two exciting Premier League games are on the cards. At 9pm, Al Najma take on current table-toppers Muharraq, followed at 11pm by three-time defending champions Manama going up against Al Hala.
Action resumes on Sunday with just one League B clash between Bahrain Club and Nuwaidrat at 8.30pm.
Heading into this round, Muharraq are in first place on the Premier League standings with 10 wins from their 12 games. Manama follow with 10 wins and one loss, having played one game less, while Najma are third and Ahli fourth, with similar 5-6 win-loss records.
Hala are fifth on the table with a 4-7 mark and Ettihad last with no wins from 12 games.
