MOTORSPORT – Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, held a co-ordination meeting with the kingdom’s key motorsport bodies as part of their ongoing preparations for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025.
The gathering took place at the circuit’s Media Centre and it involved representatives from BIC, the Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF), the Motorsport Marshals Club, and other relevant institutions under the BMF umbrella.
BIC corporate services director Beshara Abdu Beshara chaired the meeting, during which other members of the circuit’s management were also on hand.
Beshara gave an overview of BIC’s plans for the upcoming F1 weekend, with a special focus on all safety and security measures that will be in place throughout the mega sporting and entertainment extravaganza.
This year’s F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix is scheduled for April 11 to 13 and it will be held as the fourth round of the 2025 FIA F1 World Championship.
Beshara stressed on the importance of having all systems in place and on establishing efficient coordination between all parties, to ensure the well-being of all those attending, both as participants and fans.
Beshara also spoke about other important issues related to the event’s hosting. He highlighted that the circuit is keen to work with all stakeholders, both public and private, to ensure the smooth and successful running of one of the largest annual sporting events in the Middle East, which attracts thousands of race-goers from around the world each year.
