The High Court of Appeal has amended an initial verdict challenged by the Public Prosecution, fining a veterinary BD5,000 and ordering his deportation and the destruction of the prohibited steroid substance he was selling.
The defendant, who is in charge of a pharmacy at a private veterinary hospital, stood trial at the Lower Criminal Court for allegedly importing and selling the prohibited steroid substance without the knowledge of the hospital’s manager .
