AS part of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness on the fundamentals of VAT and Excise and to enhance compliance, the National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) announced a series of awareness workshops for 2025, targeting key legislative and procedural aspects related to VAT and excise.
The NBR stated that these workshops will cover a range of VAT and excise topics, including VAT invoicing compliance, VAT implementation in specific sectors, and VAT refund mechanism with a dedicated workshop for tourist VAT refund .
