BOXING – BAHRAIN’S national boxing team is set to take part in an international boxing championship in Al Ain, which is being organised by the UAE Boxing Federation.
Bahrain are one of six nations taking part. The others are Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, and hosts UAE. More than 120 male and female boxers are taking to the ring in the event, which includes elite and youth fighters.
The kingdom’s delegation includes national team coaches Fethi Missaoui and Mohamed Naseem.
The boxers include Fahad Saleh Abdullah in the 60kg elite men’s category, Prakash Limbu in the 63.5kg elite men’s division, Abdullah Saleh Alabdullah in the 71kg elite men’s class, Rasheed Wahid Ali amongst the 80kg elite men, and Ahmed Hany Attia in the 60kg youth men’s category.
