VOLLEYBALL – AL Najma posted a tough win over Al Nasser in the Top Six round of the 2024-25 Isa Bin Rashid Bahrain Volleyball League.
The game was played at Isa Bin Rashid Arena at Isa Sports City in Um Al Hassam.
Najma were the early aggressors and took a two-set cushion, but Nasser roared back to send the contest into a tie-break. They then recovered enough to seal the victory in the fifth set with a 3-2 (25-19, 25-20, 21-25, 18-25, 15-11) score line.
The result earned Najma their third triumph in four games as they stayed right behind unbeaten league leaders Al Ahli. Nasser, on the other hand, suffered their fourth loss in as many outings to stay winless in this stage.
Other winners this week in the Top Six were Ahli, who beat Muharraq, and Dar Kulaib, who overcame Nabih Saleh. All three matches went the maximum and were decided in five sets.
