JIU-JITSU – General Sports Authority deputy chairman and Bahrain Combat Sports Council president Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa attended the Bahrain Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship, held at Isa Sports City in Riffa and organised by the Bahrain Jiu-Jitsu Federation (BJJF).
Shaikh Salman praised the event’s high technical level, which he said reflects the serious preparations of the participants while showcasing their prowess and potential.
Shaikh Salman stressed that such competitions contribute to highlighting talented fighters from which the BJJF can benefit from when selecting national team athletes.
He expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the BJJF, headed by BJJF president Redha Monfaradi, in implementing plans and programmes to further progress the sport in the kingdom and achieve greater success at all levels of competition.
