SHOWJUMPING – The Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa International Showjumping Championship is scheduled to be held from Wednesday to Saturday this week at the Bahrain Military Sports Association in Sakhir.
The event is set to take place under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and is being organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef)
Shaikh Nasser noted that showjumping in Bahrain is progressing steadily, with notable achievements internationally.
Shaikh Nasser said these championships provide riders with a platform to demonstrate their technical skills.
Shaikh Nasser highlighted the achievements of showjumping in Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Shaikh Nasser commended the efforts of SCYS first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in supporting all sporting events held in the kingdom.
Shaikh Nasser commended the efforts of Breef, led by Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, along with all federation members and committees, in promoting and advancing showjumping.
Shaikh Nasser wished all participating riders success, encouraging them to deliver their best performances while emphasising the positive impact of the championship on future international competitions.
