The suffering of large numbers of Bahraini pilgrims stranded at the Safwan point of entry at the Kuwait-Iraq border continues.
In a statement to our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Iraq Khalid Al Mansoor said that the embassy and consulate staff in the Iraqi city of Najaf are doing their best to facilitate the entry of Bahraini citizens visiting Iraq and that contacts with Iraqi officials are underway to simplify the entry procedures for Bahrainis .
