MOSCOW - The Kremlin said on Monday that there are no specific preparations yet underway for a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and US President-elect Donald Trump, but added that there was understanding and political will for one.
A top Trump adviser said over the weekend that a call between Trump and Putin is expected in the coming days or weeks.
