Riyadh - The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed a collaborative agreement with a civil society institution to implement the ninth phase of the water supply and environmental sanitation project in Yemen's Hudaydah Governorate with a total value of $359,000.
The agreement was signed by the Assistant Supervisor General of the KSrelief for Operations and Programs, Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, at the centre's headquarters in Riyadh.
Under this agreement, water supply and sanitation services will be improved, and hygiene will be promoted for those affected by the humanitarian crisis through the distribution of personal hygiene kits and toilet cleaning supplies, the installation of 20 mobile toilets, and access to safe drinking water suitable for domestic use, benefiting 131,662 individuals.
This agreement is part of a series of humanitarian and relief projects and programs related to the water and sanitation sector implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the KSrelief to improve the quality of life, provide sustainable environmental solutions, and reduce the spread of diseases and epidemics in needy countries around the world.
