The Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) competitions committee has announced the rescheduling of the final of the 26th Gulf Cup to Saturday, January 4, from its original date of Friday, January 3.
The competitions committee added that it has decided not to move the dates of the semi-finals from their Tuesday, December 31, schedule.
Oman face off with Saudi Arabia at 5.30pm that evening followed by Bahrain taking on hosts Kuwait at 8.45pm.
AGCFF competitions committee head Dr Khaled Abdul Aziz Muqrin noted that the national federations of the qualified semi-final teams all agreed to the change of date for the final.
