Muscat - Represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, the Sultanate of Oman today hosted, in Muscat, the closing ceremony of a GCC programme titled “Meeting with an Official: Dialogue and Communication”—one of 5 programmes approved by the GCC Secretariat General.
The closing ceremony was held under the auspices of Basil Ahmed Al Rowas, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Sports and Youth.
The programme dealt with meeting officials from various sectors and learning about their experiences, in addition to expanding knowledge through specialized sessions and open discussions.
The programme also highlighted tourist and cultural landmarks in the Sultanate of Oman and encouraged communication among GCC youth.
The programme saw the participation of more than 46 young men and women, who convened with heads of delegations and representatives of the GCC Secretariat General.
The programme included visits to various landmarks and meetings with officials of the landmarks, namely the Royal Opera House, Al Mirani Fort, Outward Bound Oman, the Cultural Centre, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman Across Ages Museum, Nizwa Souq, Hillat Al Aqar village and the Youth Centre.
