THE green light has been given for Bahrain to join the 1949 Geneva Convention on Road Traffic.The Shura Council’s approval, following a report by the foreign affairs, defence and national security committee, marks a significant step towards enhancing road safety and aligning the kingdom’s traffic regulations with global standards .
