Personifi AI's 'Shazam' dog collars come equipped with a microphone, speaker and an AI chatbot. So if you were to ask your pet a question, the AI chatbot will analyse the question and provide an answer in a pre-recorded human voice through the speaker.
The collar obviously can't read your pet's thoughts, but it can give you the illusion of speaking to your furry friend.
The collars are expensive, coming in at $495 for cats and $595 for dogs.
You also have to pay a subscription fee of $195 a year for the feline and “ultra” collars, or $295 a year for the BrainBoost service.
But you're not just getting a toy to have fun with your pets for that price, the collars come with safety measures for your pets too.
The microphones and sensors in the collar can detect rattlesnakes by listening for the sound of a rattle, or detect if a pet goes missing or is kidnapped.
If something like that happens, the collar will immediately send you an alert or text.
