Europe’s new UEFA Champions League season continues, with the inaugural 36-team league format. Manchester City cruised to victory against Sparta Prague to extend their unbeaten run in Europe’s elite competition to a record 26 games.
The 70th season of Europe's elite club competition, and the 33rd since it was renamed the UEFA Champions League, this is the first under the new format. It kicks off on 9 July 2024 with the qualifiers, and runs until the final on Saturday May 31, 2025 at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.
