MOTORSPORT – The track continues to heat up at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) as the 2024-25 season gets into full swing.
The thrills continue tomorrow at ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’ with one of its most popular on-track activities – Open Track Day.
This experience offers speed lovers a drive like no other – taking their very own cars or motorbikes and pushing them to their limits within BIC’s safe and secure environment.
Tomorrow’s event is scheduled from 11am to 6pm, making for a whole day’s adventure and then wrapping up beneath the beautiful sunset setting in Sakhir. It will be held along BIC’s 2.55-kilometre Inner Circuit – the same used in the kingdom’s premier national championships.
Open Track is one of the most sought-after activities at BIC, with speed enthusiasts being able to satisfy their need for an adrenaline-pumping ride.
Those interested in taking part can book their slot in advance at a reduced rate. The cost for the full day is BD82.500, while the half day is BD55, and a single session is BD22. If booking on the day itself, the cost is BD93.500 for the full day, BD66 for half the day, and BD27.500 for a single session.
Instructor sessions are available, while additional drivers and passengers can also participate, all for an additional fee.
BIC is also offering options for an Open Track Pack, which gives access to Open Track events throughout the whole season. The Gold Membership, priced at BD935, offers participation in all Open Track events for 2024/2025. Silver Membership, costing BD495, gets access to six full or 10 half Open Track activities this season, while Bronze Membership, priced at BD385, gets access to four full or six half Open Track participations.
