Omni Llama, a cutting-edge agnostic parcel locker network, is launching in Saudi Arabia to offer customers a seamless experience for sending, receiving, and returning parcels through self-service options. It has also appointed Ahmad Abaza as its CEO.
It is a joint venture of an ambitious Saudi startup, Lama Nasl, and global research and development company OmniC.
“Today, we proudly introduce our esteemed partner, Lama Nasl, in this endeavour. The joint venture between our two companies promises remarkable progress in the development of this extensive network, with the first installation set to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2024,” said Arthur Grigoriants, OmniC founder.
Remarkable expertise
Abaza’s remarkable expertise in the Saudi Arabian market's logistics realm will help develop the network. As previously reported, the Omni Llama open network will have 2,000 parcel lockers across Saudi Arabia. Omnic and Lama Nasl will invest over $6 million into the deployment of the network.
Currently, Omni Llama is working on setting up the first 24 parcel lockers in Saudi Arabia. The pilot's launch is estimated in Q2 2024.--TradeArabia News Service
