A group that seeks to bring together Punjabi women and children in the kingdom and foster a sense of community launched its first newsletter yesterday at the Sikh Gurudwara (temple) in Salmabad.
The Punjabi Virsa group has been set up to empower women, promote cultural heritage and spread the knowledge of traditions to the younger generation and take part in welfare efforts .
