The Young Goans Club will celebrate World Goa Day in tandem with the traditional Bandra Fair September 29 at the Baan Saeng Thai Auditorium in Adliya.
The all-day festival of music, fun and games to entertain the young and old, commences at 1pm kicking off with telegames and continues until late evening showcasing and reviving the charm of the decades-old heritage.
Added attractions include Goa’s ‘authentic voice’ Sanio being flown in from Dubai and DJ Ethax travelling all the way from Scotland. There will also be food stalls, traditional delicacies from Goa and a variety of games played.
Auduth Timblo, chairman and managing director of Sociedade de Fomento in Goa, will be chief guest at the event and the guest of honour will be Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, a member of the Goa Legislative Assembly and chairman of the Goa Industrial Development Corporation.
