MAHMOOD A Qader, riding Ziva, was declared the Class 3 champion in the last round of the final event of the 2022-23 showjumping season at the Prime Equestrian Centre after clocking a time of 45.94 seconds, followed by Ebrahim Bubshait in second place and Ryan Zhang in third.
Earlier, the competition began with Dr Ahmed Naja, Ali A Rasool, Grace Zimmer and Nasser Mohammed all making no faults in the Clear Round Class.
S Mustafa Al Alawi, riding Philips, then won Class Two – the speed class – by blitzing through the 9-jump course in 51.12s, closely followed in second and third places by Mahmood A Qader and Saeed Abdulaziz, respectively.
