Since Elon Musk has taken over Twitter, netizens have been coming across announcements of possible changes to the social media platform, and yet most messages remain a mystery.
Recently, users of the app rubbed their eyes in disbelief as they saw the classic blue bird logo of the site replaced with Dogecoin's meme, Shiba Inu, and people are seeking to know when Musk would resign.
The CEO of Twitter posted a screenshot of an old post with the caption, 'as promised', confirming the logo change. Even though the old logo has been reinstated, users have been circulating memes and comments about the change.
One netizen tweeted, "Dogecoin has gained $4 billion in market value because of this."
"Will you rename it from Twitter to Barker?" another user asked.
Another user commented, "Thanks for making Twitter fun again! Dogecoin to the moon!"
"Dogecoin to the moon, let's go!" said another comment.
Some people, however, thought it was rather peculiar.
A few critics painted the change with some humorous comments. Some even expressed their astonishment at Musk's ability to fulfil his promises.
Just like how one user questioned in their tweet, "What about you resigning as promised? What about accounts getting ad revenue as promised?"
Another tweeted, "After seeing this, I believe it is likely that Elon will put cocaine back in CocaCola."
Various users claimed that Musk had spent $44 billion to replace the blue bird symbol that Twitter is known for.
