Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has organised a workshop on fair competition among airlines in Muscat in cooperation with the Arab Civil Aviation Organization.
Specialists from Arab countries are taking part in the three-day workshop, reported Oman News Agency (ONA).
Salim Hamad Al Hussaini, Director General of Aviation Regulation at the CAA, underscored the significance of upgrading cooperation to enable national Arab air carriers to enter the market in a fair manner that achieves balance in competition and prevents monopoly and dumping.
Oman, represented by the CAA, will also host the 48th meeting of the Arab Air Transport Commission for this year.
