Eldar Eldarov, owned by KHK Racing, has won the St Leger (G1) at Doncaster.
The winner was ridden by David Egan and trained by Roger Varian.
Horse Care Affairs Authority chairman Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa congratulated Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa following the success of the KHK Racing team’s horse.
Shaikh Duaij said that Shaikh Khalid’s strong support has contributed to the kingdom’s success in international races. He added that the brilliant victory of Eldar Eldarov will encourage the team to continue its successes at international gatherings, commending the efforts of jockey Egan and trainer Varian.
