BRAVE Combat Federation has confirmed the signing of Izzedine Al Derbani on a long-term deal as the Palestinian fighter is set to join the organisation’s growing Bantamweight division.
Al Derbani comes in with a 13-2 MMA record and is currently riding a five-fight win streak. He also has notable victories over Yousif Ghrairi, Hussein Salem and former world title challenger Hamza Kooheji.
“The Samurai is coming to conquer all. I want to announce that I have signed with BRAVE CF. Stay tuned for my first fight in this organisation. Thank you to all the people behind me for the support in my upcoming fights,” wrote Al Derbani on social media.
BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid said Al Derbani would have the chance to prove he is one of the best Bantamweights not just in the Middle East but also in the world.
“We’re very excited to welcome Izzedine to the family. Bantamweight is one of the most exciting divisions at BRAVE CF and he is here to show that he’s not only one of the best 135-pounders in the Middle East but also in the world. He will have the opportunity to fight around the world and earn his stripes in the most global MMA promotion,” said Shahid.
Al Derbani joins a row of Bantamweights currently signed by the organisation, which includes Kooheji, Gamzat Magomedov, Jose Torres, Kasum Kasumov, Nkosi Ndebele, and reigning champion, Canada’s Brad Katona.
