Shanghai's Disneyland, which opened in June this year, has already become one of the most popular amusement parks around the world. But nobody is aware of another amusement park in China, which was left abandoned after investors pulled out of the project.
'Wonderland' in Beijing was supposed to be the biggest amusement park in Asia. However, construction of the park was abandoned in 1998 after problems with protected land came to light. Apparently, all the buildings were demolished by 2013, with only some foundations remaining, reported a leading Chinese daily.
