Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) has announced that the Pit Lane Walk will return – after an absence of two years – offering ticket holders the chance to experience the F1 Pit Lane and seeing the top flight’s teams hard at work in their garages preparing for the action of the Grand Prix weekend.
The race weekend is scheduled for March 18-20 and the Pit Walk will be held on March 17 at 6pm.
Fans will be able to take pictures and, if lucky, spot F1 drivers in their garage, working with their engineers and mechanics. All those with tickets to this year’s F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix will be able to access Thursday’s Pit Walk at no extra cost.
Tickets to the race weekend are selling fast, and fans are urged to purchase theirs online at www.bahraingp.com or by calling +973-17450000.
Those who buy their tickets before March 1 will be able to enjoy added benefits, including free entry to F1 pre-season testing at BIC on March 11-12.
Discounts are available for the Grand Prix for children aged three to 12 at 50 per cent off, with reductions also available to students, those with special needs, and senior citizens.
The 2022 Grand Prix is set to usher in “a new era” in F1 following the biggest shake-up in rules and regulations.
Aside from F1, there will also be racing in the three support series, namely the FIA Formula 2 Championship, the FIA Formula 3 Championship and the Porsche Sprint Challenge Middle East.
To complement the racing, BIC has lined up off-track entertainment programmes for the whole family. This is in addition to the back-to-back concerts on the Friday night of the race weekend, when renowned DJs Don Diablo and Afrojack take to the stage for separate live performances.
