Bahrain: Two more sickle cell disease patients have died from complications associated with the condition, prompting campaigners to accuse medics of failing to follow basic treatment protocols.
Mahmood Mohammed Al Mahdi, 38, from A’ali, and Sameera Mohammed Ali, from Al Dair, both died early yesterday at Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) .
