Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has circulated posters of 'Al-Abdalli cell' fugitives to all services centres, shopping malls and other vital facilities across the country.
The ministry published photos of the 16 convicted in the case of the 'Abdali cell' a few days ago and appealed to citizens and residents to report them, warning against harbouring any of the fugitives.
Last June, the Court of Cassation commuted the death sentence which was handed down to one cell member to life in prison.
It also overruled court verdicts acquitting 15 of the defendants and sentenced them to 10 years in prison.
Another convicted member had his sentence reduced from life in prison to 15 years in jail.
In September 2015, the public prosecution accused a number of individuals of acts that threatened national security and unity.
The defendants were also accused of providing intelligence and important information to Iran and Hezbollah as well as housing weapons, ammunition, and communication devices.
On August 13, 2015, the Kuwaiti Interior Ministry busted the pro-Iranian cell and found a large cache of weapons at a farm in al-Abdali area near the Iraqi border inside houses belonging to the suspects.
The police units had then seized 19 tons of ammunition, 144 kg of explosives, 68 A variety of weapons and 204 grenades, as well as electric detonators.
