HORSERACING – HIS Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport chairman, and Bahrain Royal Endurance Team captain Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa secured first place in the 120-kilometre race in the Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Endurance Championship, organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef).
Shaikh Nasser emphasised that international and local qualifying races serve as key opportunities for stables and riders to prepare for upcoming international events, particularly as the Royal Endurance Team gears up for a series of competitions in Europe and worldwide.
Shaikh Nasser highlighted the strong participation in the races, commending the riders’ commitment to delivering top performances, which reflects Bahrain’s position in endurance racing and its continued progress towards further achievements in the sport.
Shaikh Nasser achieved his victory after successfully completing all stages.
As part of the meeting, Bahrain International Endurance Village hosted a series of international and local races covering distances of 120km, 100km, 80km, and 40km, including an event for private stables for the Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Cup.
