The recently launched all-new Nissan Patrol has solidified its position as one of the most popular vehicles on the roads of Bahrain and has designs of winning over even more fans around the globe with its good looks, high-tech accessories and safety features.
The unveiling marks the first of five SUVs to be released in the region by Fiscal Year 2026 under The Arc, Nissan’s ambitious global business plan, announced YK Almoayyed & Sons (YKA), the sole distributor of the marque in the kingdom.
The Patrol embodies Nissan’s bold design philosophy, seamlessly fusing its 70-year legacy with contemporary sophistication, the company says.
The vehicle represents a significant leap forward in Nissan’s SUV design language. Its distinctive silhouette balances rugged capability with premium refinement, harmonising timeless heritage with cutting-edge aesthetics.
The vehicle perfectly exemplifies Nissan’s global design philosophy of ‘Bold Presence’ and ‘Solid Dignity’, according to the automotive sector.
Extensive research across key global markets, including the Middle East, informed the new design, which expresses a dynamic duality. Sculpted lines and balanced proportions create a powerful stance, while refined details elevate its premium appeal.
Speaking on the overall design a Nissan Bahrain spokesperson said: “The all-new Nissan Patrol, with its unmatched blend of powerful design and premium comfort, is an SUV designed to inspire and empower drivers across the region.
“It is available in seven striking exterior colours, each chosen to enhance its dynamic appearance. Four vibrant two-tone options further personalise the vehicle, allowing drivers to express their individual style while projecting authority and elegance.”
The front of the vehicle showcases the enhanced ‘Bold Presence’ design, featuring a wider, more pronounced V-motion grille. This design element, a nod to the second-generation Patrol with its integrated horizontal bar, is complemented by-sharply sculpted lines and modern lighting, including the distinctive new ‘double-C’ lamp design. The full-width rear light bar further emphasises the vehicle’s powerful appearance.
The Patrol’s side profile is defined by a gently sloping shoulder line, stretching from front to rear, conveying both prestige and agility. This design is accentuated by a rising window line between the C- and D-pillars, with blacked-out pillars creating a floating roof effect. The iconic Patrol emblem on the D-pillar reinforces the vehicle’s identity. Stylish 22-inch alloy wheels underscore the SUV’s bold stance, while sleek LED accents modernise the overall design, achieving a balance of aesthetics and functionality.
Inside, the Patrol’s premium cabin reflects Nissan’s commitment to ‘Solid Dignity’. Twin displays dominate the console, while soft materials and carefully integrated components create an elegant and uncluttered design. Adhering to the Japanese concept of Ma (Mastery of Space), each seating row has been crafted with meticulous attention to detail.
Enhanced roominess and premium quilted leather with precise stitching, inspired by traditional Kumiko patterns, offer passengers a luxurious experience. Unique touches, such as the ‘Since 1951’ badge on the centre console, pay homage to the Patrol’s historic legacy.
Practicality and elegance are evident in every detail, from Damping Acoustic glass for a tranquil cabin, to a wireless phone charging mat textured to resemble sand dunes, a nod to the Patrol’s natural environment. With increased cargo capacity and thoughtfully engineered seating, including first and second-row seats equipped with Nasa-inspired spinal support technology, the all-new Patrol is designed to elevate every journey, whether in the city or beyond, Nissan’s designers proclaimed.
