Bahrain’s delegation at the Asian Winter Games participated last night in the closing ceremony in Harbin, China.
Members of the kingdom’s squad participated in the parade of nations and flew the Bahrain flag high amongst the participating national teams.
Also during the ceremony, the Olympic Council of Asia flag was handed over to Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Sports and Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee chairman Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal as Saudi will be hosting the event’s next edition in Neom in 2029.
The event will be the first time ever that the Asian Winter Games will be hosted by a West Asian nation.
