A record number of inspections were carried out by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) last year, according to statistics released yesterday.
The labour watchdog also reported that 98 per cent of business owners were found to be in compliance with relevant regulations and laws, and there was a 36pc year-on-year increase in the number of workers deported .
