Enjoy a range of cultural activities and musical performances at Muharraq Nights this week.
The festival, which runs until December 30, is being organised by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca) and includes a number of food, music and art-related events, all taking place along the 3.5km-long Pearling Path.
An exhibition entitled Homage to an Artistic Legacy is being held at the Zowayed House. The exterior facades of the late Bahraini artist Mohammed Zowayed’s house transforms into a canvas, reflecting his artistic journey, which spanned over six decades.
Another exhibition titled Salmeen Ghanmeen (II) is being held at the Fakhro House. The house stands as a testament to the island’s urban and economic growth. Featuring a blend of returning and new artworks, the exhibition showcases a diverse range of cultural and artistic practices.
Both events are open for viewing from Sunday to Wednesday, 5pm to 10pm or Thursday to Saturday, 5pm to midnight.
Meanwhile, a range of musical performances will be held at Qal’at Bu Mahir at 8pm.
