Popular Iraqi actress Huda Hussein won Best Actor In A Series at the 2025 Joy Awards, held in Riyadh.
In a ceremony that hosted many of the world's biggest celebrities, from Matthew McConaughey to Hans Zimmer, Huda won for her performance in the controversial Khaleeji show 'Zawja Wahida La Takfi' (One Wife is Not Enough) running against fellow actresses like Elham Ali in 'Sondos 2' and Nour Ali in 'Lo'bat Hob'.
Huda is one of the Arab world's most prominent actresses, with a career spanning more than three decades.
Notably, she starred in the 2021 show 'Kaf wa Dufoof', which was partially shot in Bahrain and included scenes shot in the GDN office.
