Bahrain’s senior men’s football national team have been drawn in a tough Group B alongside Iraq, Yemen, and Saudi Arabia for the preliminary round of the 26th Gulf Cup.
The draw for the prestigious eight-team tournament, taking place December 21 to January 3 in Kuwait City, was held this evening at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait.
Group A features hosts Kuwait, Oman, the UAE, and Qatar.
The Bahrainis were the champions of the 2019 edition of the competition – their only Gulf Cup title.
