Spring of Culture theatrical Umm Kulthum and The Golden Era enthralled the audience last night at the Bahrain National Theatre.

The English-language musical showcased a brilliant performance by Arab talent Lubana Al Quntar who took fans on a journey depicting the life of Egyptian singer and songwriter Umm Kulthum aka Star of the Orient, from poverty to star status.
A repeat performance of the show will be held at the same venue tonight at 8pm.
